Trying to connect old powerbook G4 to WPA wifi network

Just resurrected one of my old Powerbook G4's (running OS X, version 10.4) to be used as a backup computer for my mother. Was initially having some boot issues when I first tried to set up for her so i repartitioned and reloaded the OS X system onto the computer again (thus why it's only 10.4 and not 10.4.x). We have wi-fi here at the house and it is a WPA protected system. The thing is when the PB detects the wi-fi network it's only showing WEP password, WEP 40/128-bit hex or WEP40-128-bit ASCII...

Is it still possible for it to connect wirelessly? If so what do I have to do to set it up correctly? I can't get any updated software, etc until I can connect to the internet and not sure if I have a cable floating to wire connect.

Thanks!

PowerBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.11)
